Bill Beimers

MANAGING DIRECTOR & SENIOR FINANCIAL ADVISER

Bill resides in the Bundaberg district with his wife Lisa and leads a team of experienced professionals who have their clients’ best interest at heart.

Bill has developed many life-long relationships with his clients and their families over the past two decades, and by working from the ground up with major financial institutions, licensees, and businesses, he has gained a deep understanding of the Finance & Advice sectors, which in turn offers valuable leverage to benefit his clients and the team. Bill’s diverse industry experience has been attained through several senior appointments in Banking, Finance, Insurance, Financial Planning & Tax Advice. Bill believes that personal success and happiness can be delivered through the advice journey, to which the key is for advisers to first understand what is at the heart of their clients. Bill continues to actively advise his clients and works closely with his team.  Outside of work he enjoys travelling with Lisa, community involvement and catching up with family and friends.

Dan Thomas

PRACTICE PRINCIPAL & SENIOR FINANCIAL ADVISER

Dan has been providing professional financial advice services to clients since 2004. After completing his Bachelor of Commerce in Financial Planning and Investments in 2003, Dan has been focussed on providing personalised financial advice that will make a difference in his clients’ lives. He has a keen interest and an in-depth understanding of the use of direct investments and Self-Managed Super Funds.

Dan prides himself on developing strong working relationships with all his clients to ensure that together they can reach their goals. His focus is to provide comprehensive financial advice on the areas that matter most to them.

When he is not at work, Dan enjoys spending time with his partner and their children whether it be bush walking or relaxing at the beach.

Chris Rae

SENIOR FINANCIAL ADVISER

Chris has been a financial adviser with SEQ Advice since 2017, and in this time, he has delivered high quality financial advice and built strong long-term relationships with his clients. He prides himself on his trusted relationships and aims to help clients throughout their whole life to make the best financial decisions for the future.

Chris was born in Bundaberg where he has spent most of his life. After leaving high school, Chris pursued a professional tennis career for 5 years, representing Australia and travelling the globe. Following his sporting career, Chris returned to his hometown of Bundaberg to work in the building industry as an administrator for 13 years, working with three successful local companies in this period. During this time, Chris gained a wealth of accounting, management, financial and quality assurance skills.

Chris is also equipped with a Bachelor of Accounting through Central Qld University.

Chris has always had a keen interest in investing for the future and became passionate about helping others achieve their goals. Chris therefore continued his studies by completing his Diploma of Financial Planning, entering the Advice Profession in 2017.

As one of SEQ’s Senior Advisers, Chris offers his commitment and passion to help clients from all walks of life fulfil their lifestyle and financial goals.

Chris’s goal is to develop a long-term trusting relationship with his clients, by working with them closely to uncover the best pathway to reach their short- and long-term goals.

Outside of work, Chris enjoys travelling and exploring new places. He also enjoys spending time and relaxing with his family and friends, playing tennis, gym, and watching motorsport.

Mirella Coe

SENIOR FINANCIAL ADVISER

Mirella’s passion is to support families, individuals, and small business owners in achieving their vision of financial success. By drawing on her knowledge as a Certified Practicing Accountant (CPA), Mirella provides flexible and tax effective strategies to all her clients.

Working in banking and finance since 1992, Mirella has seen many ups and downs over the years. Like markets, life can be unpredictable. Therefore, Mirella’s focus is on protecting her clients’ assets as well as their loved ones.

As a mother of three children Mirella is mindful of the need for planning and financial security in the family setting. Financial planning also allows Mirella to give this support to others and take pride in the differences she makes in her clients’ lives.

Rod Lord

SENIOR FINANCIAL ADVISER

Rod has lived in the Bundaberg region with his wife and two children since 2011. He spends his weekends mowing lawns and attending his children’s sporting events but does have a keen interest in most ball sports and camping when possible.

Rod has worked in the finance sector for over 10 years and has completed studies across that time to meet all the new FASEA professional education requirements that came into effect in 2020.

Previous to working in the finance industry, Rod gained experience in running a small business and spent many years working across the agriculture sector but still does have the ability to understand and relate to a wide range of client situations.

Rod aims to improve his client’s financial position and take the stress out of an ever-changing financial landscape giving them peace of mind for the future.
